Who we are: We are a small group of people, all based in Ireland, that are looking for ways to promote and enable sustainability. We are not a company. We are not looking to make money.
Why Scrappy? Why Sustainability?
We are Ireland-based volunteers that curate scrappysustainability.com and want to connect anyone interested with the best and most sustainable products and ideas that exist today by means of an ever-evolving curated online ‘catalogue’. People are trying more and more to have sustainable, climate-friendly lifestyles but often struggle to find sustainable products (or ideas) across many aspects of daily living (cooking, travelling, cleaning etc.). The website will function as a platform where sustainability and credibility are assured. Many products also offer a means to save money.
More and more people are trying to have sustainable, climate-friendly lifestyles.
Many people can't afford the big costs of installing solar panels, insulation, an electric car, or sustainable alternatives to products. Or some things can’t be done merely because the home is rented and not owned.
Many people are low on income and need to be ‘scrappy’ to get by with the only ways of living a climate-friendly lifestyle is by using a keep-cup, a reusable water bottle, and having a vegetarian diet.
Scrappy Sustainability will connect people with the best and most sustainable products that exist today by means of ever-evolving and community-driven curation.

This website is a not-for-profit, with no money being made from the website (not even from the product links). However, if you want to donate to help support the website then click here: Patreon. Mistakes aside (such as initially going with less-than-ideal web hosting and design options), the cost for the last year has been €243.54 (as of November 2022).
